Training that builds confidence, consistency, and perceived value

Great coffee is the result of the right equipment and people who know how to use it properly. Our training is designed to build confidence, improve consistency, and ensure every drink reflects the standard your customers expect.

Whether you’re serving customers all day or supporting a self-service environment, good training turns equipment into an asset — not a risk.

Who delivers the training

Our training is delivered by Russell Hardwick and Iain Walker, both of whom bring hands-on, real-world experience across hospitality, workplace coffee, and commercial environments.

  • Experience across traditional espresso, bean-to-cup, and high-volume systems
  • Backgrounds spanning coffee sales, training, operations, and customer-facing environments
  • Training that’s practical, approachable, and tailored to how teams actually work day to day

This isn’t classroom theory. It’s grounded in real service environments, real challenges, and real customers.

SCA-level trained

Our trainers are Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) level trained, ensuring training is built on recognised industry standards rather than habit or guesswork.

  • Correct extraction fundamentals
  • Milk handling and texture techniques
  • Understanding flavour, balance, and consistency
  • Best-practice cleaning and maintenance routines

All delivered in a way that’s relevant to your setup — not overly technical for the sake of it.

Why training matters more than ever

Today’s coffee customer is more informed, more confident, and more discerning than ever before. Customers increasingly judge coffee on milk texture, visual presentation, and consistency from cup to cup.

Even outside hospitality — in offices, public sector sites, and retail environments — expectations have moved towards café-level quality. Poor milk texture or inconsistent drinks don’t just affect taste; they affect perception of value.

  • Improves customer satisfaction
  • Increases perceived quality and professionalism
  • Reduces waste and avoidable machine issues
  • Builds staff confidence and pride

Training protects your investment — in both equipment and brand.

Experience across all types of businesses

We’ve delivered training for:

  • Coffee shops and hospitality venues
  • Offices and corporate environments
  • Public sector and education sites
  • Garden centres, farm shops, and retail spaces
  • Staff canteens and shared self-service areas

Training is adapted to your equipment, menu, team experience level, and service style.

Ongoing support — not one-off sessions

Training doesn’t stop once we leave site. We’re always available to answer follow-up questions, support new staff as teams change, and revisit setups or recipes as requirements evolve — helping keep your coffee consistent long after installation day.
