Introducing the new "range"
Case Study
Supporting a well-known Lowland distillery and visitor destination with a Gaggia La Solare, alongside supply of Black Heather Solasta coffee beans and Caffia Decaf beans.
The Brief
This project for Glenkinchie Distillery reflects the kind of installation where the setting plays an important part in shaping the coffee offer. Located in East Lothian and known as one of Scotland’s best-known Lowland distilleries, Glenkinchie welcomes visitors in an environment where presentation, consistency and day-to-day ease all matter.
We installed a Gaggia La Solare, providing a dependable bean-to-cup solution suited to the pace and style of service in a visitor-facing hospitality space.
Alongside the equipment, Glenkinchie also takes our Black Heather Solasta coffee beans and Caffia Decaf beans, giving the site a consistent drinks offer across both regular and decaffeinated options.
Machine Evolution
The Gaggia La Solare has been a reliable solution for hospitality and visitor environments, offering freshly ground coffee with straightforward operation and consistent results.
This model has now been succeeded by newer machines such as the Gaggia G500 PrimeMilk, which builds on this with improved milk capability and a more premium drinks menu.
For customers considering a bean-to-cup coffee machine, this reflects how coffee solutions evolve over time — maintaining reliability while improving the overall customer experience.
In a visitor destination, coffee is part of the overall experience. The right solution combines dependable equipment with coffee that reflects the quality of the setting.
Coffee Supplied
As well as the machine installation, Glenkinchie takes our Black Heather Solasta coffee beans and Caffia Decaf beans.
This is an important part of the overall project, because a good machine performs best when matched with the right coffee. For customer-facing venues such as distilleries, visitor attractions, hotels and hospitality spaces, the machine and the beans need to work together to deliver a consistent and enjoyable end result.
By combining reliable Gaggia equipment with coffee from our Black Heather range and a decaf option, Glenkinchie benefits from a joined-up coffee solution rather than simply a standalone piece of equipment.
The Result
This project at Glenkinchie Distillery shows how a successful coffee setup is about more than installing a machine. It is about selecting equipment that suits the environment, pairing it with the right coffee beans, and supporting a site with a solution that works well operationally while fitting the standard expected by visitors.
With the Gaggia La Solare and ongoing supply of Black Heather Solasta and Caffia Decaf beans, Glenkinchie has a coffee solution that combines dependable service with a more complete drinks offer.
For businesses looking at commercial coffee machines for distilleries, visitor attractions and hospitality settings, this project is a good example of how machine choice and coffee supply can work together to support the wider customer experience. Newer options such as the Gaggia G500 PrimeMilk show how this type of solution continues to evolve for modern hospitality settings.
