A premium coffee solution for a new London office

Appian USA came to Caffia looking for a high-quality coffee equipment solution for their new London office. As with many international workplace projects, the process involved a number of conversations between our team and the client contact in the United States, often later in the afternoon to accommodate the time difference and keep the project moving smoothly.

The new office is based at 20 Fenchurch Street, in the London landmark affectionately known as the “Walkie Talkie Building”. It is a striking setting, and the coffee offer needed to feel in keeping with that environment: premium, professional and straightforward for day-to-day use.

From the outset, this was about more than simply supplying a machine. It was about helping shape an office coffee set-up that would work well in a modern workplace while supporting both staff experience and the overall finish of the new space.

Project Coordination

Working closely with Parkeray and the wider office project

We worked closely with Parkeray, a professional office fit-out and refurbishment contractor, to help ensure the coffee provision aligned with the wider workplace project. That kind of coordination is important, particularly in office environments where layout, power, plumbing, finish and day-to-day usability all need to come together properly.

In many office projects, the refreshment area becomes part of the overall design story. It has to look right, fit the available space and operate smoothly for staff and visitors alike. Early coordination helps avoid compromise later and supports a much cleaner end result.
