Hot on the heels of our recent blog post on the interesting subject of recycling or at least making better use of used coffee grounds from cafes and offices we are interested and pleased to share more details on an initiative that is more or less on the doorstep of our head office and commercial coffee machine showroom in Falkirk.

Revive Eco are a new company in Glasgow started by students in the hospitality trade, information on a BBC News Scotland article about their efforts to extract useful oils from used coffee indicates there may be 40,000 tonnes of the stuff produced in Scotland’s cities and towns every year – we wish them all the best with this original idea!
